Ask yourself: How can we translate our needs into goal statements, and devise specific Action Plans to accomplish each goal? What strategies will be involved? Who will be responsible for what, and within what time frames? What resources will be required? How will we monitor our progress, and make adjustments as needed?
Translations of District or School Self-Study Into An Action Plan
EdFOCUS helps the District and School Leadership Teams examine their current status regarding Organization and Infrastructure, Student Performance, and Curriculum and Instruction to determine strengths and needs - both overall across the district and specific to each building. We also help the Team translate these needs into short- and long-range Plans of Action that indicate:
Specific strategies (including training, materials-development, etc.)
Persons involved (including accountability targets)
- Time frames and deadlines
- Checkpoints (how we can monitor along the way)
- Criteria for ultimate success (how we'll know we've succeeded!)
- Continuous Monitoring and Revision [as needed] of Action Plans
