I am excited to be working as a consultant with EdFOCUS.
It is my life’s passion to be an educator in the area of special education. Special education teachers face unique challenges and opportunities to meet the individual needs of our students with disabilities. I have been a special education teacher as well as a principal in a large urban school district. I am past president of the Ohio Council for Exceptional Children, and have served on several committees for the Office of Exceptional Children for the State of Ohio.
As a consultant with EdFOCUS, I hope to offer my knowledge of special education law as well as provide assistance to teachers and staff to improve, collaborate and find success for all students through individualized instruction, differentiated instruction, and current instructional strategies.
