As an educator, I have 18 years experience as a teacher and principal within a large urban setting. My main focus has been on children from Birth to Grade 2; but I have also been a teacher of pregnant teenagers in the inner city schools.
One of my primary areas of interest is the assessment and use of data to improve student outcomes within blended classrooms. In addition, I am very interested in the use and promotion of technology tools to prepare educators to enhance their student's functionality and outcomes.
My primary areas of research and expertise include tiered instruction, fidelity of implementation, and embedded learning opportunities. My doctoral studies have been in the area of Special Education.
